| How the Fiesta
Heater works. A stainless
steel radiant emitter is internally heated by a circular gas burner. The emitter
glows red and emits radiant heat (invisible infra-red heat rays). A bright
aluminium reflector placed above the emitter, directs the radiant heat downward
& outward to produce a circular warmed area around the heater. Spark
ignition and thermoelectric flame safeguard controls are provided and are easily
accessible at head level at the top of the pole. Infra-red heat rays pass
through the air without heating it.
The rays only become 'sensible' heat when
they fall on surrounding surfaces and people. People experience a warming
effect, similar to that created by the sun, both directly from the heater and
also by re-radiation from the warmed surroundings. |
